Mentor is a brand of watches registered by Bader & Hafner S.A. / Bader S.A. on July 11th, 1941. The logo for Mentor was registered on January 10th, 1962.

Mentor was a range of "everyday" watches and it was the most common tradename/brand used by Bader Ltd, Bader S.A., Bader & Hafner in Holderbank, Switzerland.

Mentor watches were most commonly pin lever movements that they were designed to be threw-away and not being serviced. Also, the brand had a large number of designs and styles for men and women.

In 1954, Mentor was a trademark registered for a company supplying watches, part of watches and watch cases

Mentor watches appear to be post-war watches with a quite advanced attitude to style, from the early elegant minimalist to the comprehensive range of mechanical watches with digital display. Mentor was certainly up to date stylistically in its watches to cover the mass market.

Mentor disappeared as a brand but it is not known on what specific date, probably just before the beginning of the 1980's.

This is a very unique timepiece, a Mentor wristwatch, dated from the 1950's. It is a manual wind watch, one jewel movement, central second, Swiss made.

Stunningly styled! It still keeps the original and beautiful two-tone white and black dial with gold painted Arabic Numerals, bold minute marks, luminous hands and the characteristic red center second hand. The dial is also signed with the Mentor name, Antimagnetic and Swiss Made as well.

It has a 32.3mm round case with curved lugs design. and unique engraved sides design.

This watch is coming with a vintage ochre alligator signed "Genuine Leather" two-pieces strap.

After 80 years, it is still a very interesting and good looking watch! It is in good condition! Runs very well, keeps great time.

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
